The Japan Federation of Gerontological Societies (JFGS) comprises a total of seven gerontology-related societies including the JSGP, which joined on 16 June 2023. JFGS holds a biennial congress, during which each member society holds its own meetings. Participants in the JSGP meeting can also attend the meetings of other member societies. These gatherings are expected to provide participants with more opportunities to access the latest information on geriatric healthcare, and to create new interactions and cross-disciplinary partnerships with other societies.
